Found in Sumatra in forests near watercourses at elevations around 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying 3 to 5, elliptic, oblique, unequally bilobed apically, glabrous, cuneate below into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on an axillary, somewhat longer than the leaves, fractiflex higher up, slender, grooved, to 2" [to 5 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence with a few bracts.
