Common Name Boulton's Bonatea [English Officer and Plant collector 1800's]

Found in East Cape Province, Natal and Transvaal South Africa in open sunny grasslands often rocky at elevations of 1200 to 1800 meters as a slender, small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with green to greyish green, elliptic, acute, cauline leaves the blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, fairly densely 4 to 10 flowered, racemose inflorescence with green at blooming floral bracts.

Often cited as a synonym of B speciosa but if this determination is correct [which it is] then it is obvious that they are 2 different species.
