Found in Assam, Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia in mixed deciduous forests, seasonal evergreen forests, bamboo thickets, and rubber plantations at elevations of 50 to 700 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by 4 to 7, lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, acute to obtuse, basally clasping leaves that that blooms in the late spring through summer on an axillary, erect, 2 to 10, short, single flowered inflorescence.
