Common Name The Laos Habenaria

Found in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in mixed deciduous forests, seasonal evergreen forets and bamboo thickets at elevations of 400 to 700 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with ovoid tubers giving rise to an erect stem carrying 4 to 9, linear-lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the later spring and summer on a terminal, erect, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence carrying white to purple to pale green flowers often with purple lines, spots or a yellow blotch at the base
