Found in western Sumatra without location and elevationsal data as a miniature sized epiphyte with linear-lanceoalte, falcate, acute, fleshy leaves that blooms thin but apically thickened, covered entirely in short, sharp points, peduncel to 1.24" [3.1 cm] long, rachis thickened, more than .44" [1.1 cm] long, successively few, densely many flowered inflorescence

J J Smith Stated that this orcid is similar to Brachypeza koeteinsis but it has smaller flowers which are diferenetly colored and the spur is not longer than the sepals and the spur is not swollen apically. He also stated that the sepals and petals are dark yellow dotted brownish purple except at the tips and the lip is white flushed with speckled with violet.
