Common Name The Green Brachystele

Found in Bolivia and northwestern Argentina as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with fasciculate, pubescent, fleshy roots giving rise to a few, basal, in a whorl, attenuate to the sheathing base, grey-green, pink towards the base leaves that blooms in the later spring on a basal, pulverulent, to 6" [15 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with small, acute, foliaceous bracts and light pink floral bracts.
