Common Name The Short Lipped Brachtia

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations around 2800 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with a pseudobulb carrying a single leaf and blooms in the summer with several axillary, erect, 4" [10 cm] long, successive several flowered, complanate inflorescence with imbricating, acuminate, conduplicate floral bracts that are much longer than the ovary.
