Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil in rocky mountainous regions at elevations around 1100 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing saxicolus terrestrial with smooth, cylindrical, 5 to 6 articulated pseudobulbs enveloped basally by membraneous scarious, evanescent sheaths and carrying a single, apical, fleshy, rigid, curved, terete, ridged lenghtwise, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, racemose, arched, shorter than the leaves, 2" [5 cm] long, usually 3 flowered inflorescence.
