Found in Andaman Islands, Nicobar Islands, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Lesser Sunda Islands, Moluccas, Sulawesi and the Philippines as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a not usually branching stem carrying narrowly oblong, unequally biloed apically, the lobes obtuse leaves taht blooms on an axillary, peduncle somewhat longer than the rachis, rachis has flowers .16 to .2" [4 to 5 mm] apart, to [6.4" [16 cm] long] overall, successively several, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, concave, persistent floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers.
