Found in Borneo in podzolic or Dacrylium forests at elevations around 400 to 600 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a laterally compressed stem envelo0ped completely by imbricating sheaths the bottom 4 or so leafless, leaf bearing above, each carrying many stiff, hard, linear, laterally flattened, slightly curved, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, unbranched to 9 branched, to 1.4" [ 3.5 cm] long, to 25 flowered inflorescence carrying white to yellow flowers..
