Common Name The Sword-Shaped Leaf Bromheadia

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Sumatra and Borneo on trees in montane mossy forests at elevations of 60 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with close set, elliptic in cross-section, shiny stems carrying 8, curved, laterally flattened, linear, hard, more or less acute, apically small leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, very short to .65" [1.75 cm] long, usually branched, rachis flattened, zig-zag, to 20 flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers with only a few at any one time.
