Found in Sabah and Sarawak Borneo at elevation around 600 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized epiphyte with a laterally compressed stem enveloped entirely by imbricating sheaths the basal part terete with 2 to 3 leafless sheaths, leaf bearing above, each carrying many stiff, hard-coriaceous, the upper 2 around the inflorescence shorter, obliquely triangular to linear-lanceolate, laterally flattened, straight , 14 to 16 nerved per side leaves that blooms on a terminal, unbranched to 1 branched, to .4" [to 1 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence with hard, thick, keeled along the top floral bracts and carrying small flowers arising from the imbricating floral bracts and carrrying flower with greenish tinged violet sepals, light greenish petals, a violetish lip with a cream colored apex and yellow calli..
