Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in dense primary forests at elevations around 300 to 1800 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing tufted epiphyte with a stem enveloped basally by sheaths and towards the apex by 3 to 5, laterally flattened, linear, acute, curved, acutely placed to the stem leaves that blooms summer through winter on a terminal, branched or not, gradually lengthening, to .6" [1.5 cm] long, successively 1 to 2 at a time, many flowered inflorescence with thin, overlappping floral bracts and carrying short-lived flowers.
