Found in New Guinea on trees in lower montane forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .2 to .32" [.5 to .8 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, apiculate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, erect, short, enveloped by peduncle scales, single flowered inflorescence with only slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.
