Common Name The Short Bracted Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 1" long [2.5 cm] long
Found in Sulawesi and the Philippines in primary forests and in plantations along streams at elevations around 100 to 1500 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with pushed over, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, broadly elliptical, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, 12" [30 cm] long, few to several flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in an umbel at the apex.
