Found in Nigeria and Cameroon in montane forests at elevations around 1800 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, hardly flattened, obtusely 6 angled pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, thick, lanceolate, obtuse, emarginate, midrib prominent abaxially, hardly oblique, gradually narrowing below into the 1" [2.5 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, sturdy, glabrous, 4" [10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with 4, tubular, acute to acuminate, membraneous, glabrous abaxially bracts and recurved, oblong, subacute, membraneous, keeled and glabrous abaxially floral bracts.
