Common Name Champion's Bulbophyllum []

Flower Size .56 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] wide

Found in Papua New Guinea as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to crowded, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong or lanceolate, with acute apex, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a lateral to descending, peduncle .4" [1 cm] long, provided with 2 sheaths, 3.6 to 4" [9 to 10 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with a much shorter than the ovary floral bract.
