Common Name or Meaning The Horned Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1 1/4" [3 cm]

Found in Borneo, Java and the Philippines in hill and lower montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1700 meters and higher as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .6 to 2" [1.5 to 5 cm] between each, distinct, ovoid ppseudobulb enveloped in long stiff bristles and carrying a single apical, thick. elliptic to ovate, acute, petiolate base leaf and flowers in the summer in Borneo on a basal, erect to patent, 2 to 2 3/4" [5 to 7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with elliptic to ovate floral bracts.
