Found in Myanmar, the Malay pennisula and the Philippines as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte at elevations around 500 meters on tree trunks with basally paper covered, ovate, fleshy pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, oblong to elliptic leaf that blooms in the fall on a 5 1/2" [14 cm] long, slender, pendant, lax raceme with 4 equally spaced bracts and carrying several [20], foul smelling flowers.
