Common Name The Pendant Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .32 to .48" [.8 to 1.2 cm]

Found in Borneo in the understory of tall forests at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte climbing on tree trunks or lithophyte on bare limestone with 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] between each rather distinct, ovoid to almost cylindrical, flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a somewhat pendulous,peduncle to 1.2" [3 cm] long, rather congested, 2.6 to 3" [6.5 to 7.5 cm] long overall, densly 25 to 35 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate floral bracts.
