Common Name Gjellerup's Bulbophyllum [Dutch collector of the type 1900's]

Flower Size

Found in Papua New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations of 60 to 160 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a rhizome with persistent bracts, .4 to 1.6" [1 to 4 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to obovate, rounded to obtuse apically, petiolate base leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on from the rhizome, 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
