Common Name The Unadorned Bulbophyllum

Found in the southern Highlands of Tanzania as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with a short rhizome with .8" [2 cm] between each suborbicular to ovoid, slightly flattened,obtusely 3 to 4 angled pseudobulb carrying 2 apical, narrowly elliptic to broadly lanceolate, rounded apically, emarginate, not oblique, coriaceous, thick, midrib slightly prominent abaxially, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect to patent, wiry, .6 to 1.28" [1.5 to 3.2 cm] long, glabrous, with 6 tubular, acute membraneous bracts,rachis mostly erect, terete, slightly zig zag, , bent, .4 t o.6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long, rather densely, many simultaneously open, 7 to 12 flowered inflorescence 1 to 1.92" [2.5 to 4.8 cm] long overall, with recurved, ovate, obtuse, broadly based floral bract and carrying distichous, wide open flowers .
