Common Name The Intricate Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 2/5" [1 cm]
This species is endemic to Thailand at elevations of 550 to 1550 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with conical sheathed pseudobulbs, 1 1/4" to 2 1/4" [3.5 cm to 6 cm] apart on a woody rhizome carrying a single, apical, ellipic leaf that has a petiole below and blooms in the fall on an arcuate, 8" [20 cm] long densely many flowered inflorescence with small basal sheaths arising on a mature pseudobulb.
The photo and drawing by Seidenfaden are absolutely correct, the others much less so.
