Found in central Kalimantan Borneo at elevations around 100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to close set, ovoid to quadrangular pseudobulbs carryimg a single, apical, persistent, coriaceos, glabrous, oblong-ovate, obtuse to bilobed apically leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, erect then arching, provided with 3 to 4 sheaths, 4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm] long, subumbellate, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence with tubular, triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying resupinate flowers.
