Found in Cameroon in montane forests at elevations around 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with narrowly cylindrical pseduobulbs carrying 2 apical, coriaceous, rather thick, narrowly lanceolate, obtuse, green with purple midrib, sessile leaves that blooms on a basal, 5.6" to 8.8" [14 to 22 cm] long, rachis not thickened, rather dense, 22 to 50 flowered inflorescence with 5 scales and elliptic-ovate, acute to apiculate, glabrous floral bracts.
