Found penninsular Thailand, peninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra and in all of Borneo in low and open podozolic forests at elevations of sea level to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with .56 to 2.6" [1.4 to 6.5 cm] between each distinct, ovoid to almost cylindrical, obtusely angled pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, obtuse, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a suberect to erect, .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long, 2 to 5 flowered, subumbellate inflorescence.
