Found in Vietnam and Thailand in primary montane forests at elevations around 1300 to 2600 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with conical pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a papery sheath and carrying a single, apical, linear, shortly conduplicate towards the base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, 11' [12.5 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with close tubular bracts and a few apical flowers.
