Common Name Put's Bulbophyllum [Thai Orchid Collector for Kerr and collector of type 1900's]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Thailand as a miniature sized epiphyte with close set, globular pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, minutely retuse apically leaf that blooms on a basal, peduncle .4 to 4" [10 cm] long, enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths, rachis 1" [2.5 cm] long, densely 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence with ovate, longer than the pedicel and ovary floral bracts.

The close spaced pseudobulbs are unique to this section!
