Common Name The Tail-Like Sepal Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .24" [6 mm] wide

Found in New Guinea on trees in lower montane forests at elevations around 400 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm] between each, subcylindrical pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, suberect, coriaceous, ligulate, obtuse, glabrous, attenuate below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall on a erect, thin, few bracted, 3.2 to 3.6" [8 to 9 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
