Flower Size 3/5" [1.5 cm]

This medium sized, cold growing terrestrial species is from Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria, and South occuring in sclerophyl forest and woodland, often in sandy soil at elevations of 10 to 1000 meters with an erect stem with a single leafless basal sheath and carrying 6+, gradually getting smaller upwards, narrowly lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves and blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, 2" [5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence carrying flowers with a triggered lip that flexes up when stimulated .
