Found in New Guinea in montane and limestone hill forests at elevations of 600 to 1900 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with close set, erect, slender, slightly thickeniong in the upper part stem carrying a single apical, erect, subfalcate, obliquely linear-lanceolate, fleshy-coriaceous, obtuse basally, unequally and acutely bidentate apically leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, several succssively single flowered inflorescence arising through a linear-triangular spathe.
