Found in New Guinea at elevations of 1300 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with cylindrical, slightly tapering towards the apex pseudobulbs and carrying a single, narrowly linear, acute leaf that blooms in the fall on a 1 to 3" [2.5 to 7.5 cm] single flowered inflorescence with vanilla scented flowers.
