Flower Size

Found in New Guinea at elevations around 100 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to obscurely quadrangular pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect to suberect, glabrous, coriaceous, shiny, ligulate-oblong, obtuse, apically minutely cut, basally rouned below into the base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an apical, compressed, elliptic, apiculate, .28" [.7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.

Schlecther states that the flowers are white with a yellow middle lobe to the lip and a red spot on the anther.
