Found in the Philippines at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with ascending, inversely clavate, pale to medium green, moderately wrinkled pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, rather stiff, elliptic-lanceolate, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence
