Found in Papua New Guinea in the Waira Valley at elevations of 400 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature, .4" [1 cm] tall, hot to warm growing epiphyte with cylindrical, erect to ascending, clustered pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong to oval leaf that blooms in the spring on a very short, near terminal, single flowered inflorescence
