Found in Sulawesi at elevations around 150 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with ascending, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, unequally bilobed apically leaf that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence
