Found in southwestern Western Australia among shrubs in heath and shrubby woodlands on stabilized dunes near the coast at elevations around 20 to 60 meters as a small to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the later spring on an erect, 8 to 14" [20 to 35 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
