This terrestrial species is from Victoria, Australia at elevations of 5 to 30 meters in dense heathlands and heathy forests as a cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid that blooms in the spring on an erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
