This small sized, cold growing terrestrial species is from Victoria and South Australia at elevations of 50 to 150 meters among shrubs in forests with a single leaf and blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, pubescent, apically swollen, single flowered inflorescence
