Common Name The Outstanding Caladenia - The Sandplain White Spider Orchid
Flower Size 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm]
This terrestrial species is from southwest Western Australia at elevations of 50 to 100 meters in woodlands in deep sand as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 14 to 24" [35 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
