This medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte arising at the base of trees in hot montane forests and is endemic to the Philippines at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters with tapered, elongated, 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4, apical, plicate, ovate to lanceolate, deciduous often during flowering, thin leaves and blooms on an erect, 12" to 20" [30 to 50 cm] long, white pubescent, several [8] flowered inflorescence with light green bracts.
