Found in Victoria and South Australia as well as the south island of New Zealand in lowland to subalpine scrub or track side in bush as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a long, thin, linear, single leaf on a pubescent stem that blooms in the later spring on a hairy, green, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
