Common Name The Tall Calanthe

Flower Size

Found in Fiji and Samoa in rain and cloud forests at elevations around 600 to 800 meters as a large to giant sized, warm growing terrestrial with an erect leafy stem enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths carrying elliptic to elliptic-oblanceolate, acuminate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, shortly pubescent, 24 to 32" [60 to 80 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence carrying white, flowers with yellow at the apex of the column.
