Found in western Australia in coastal shrub on stabilized sand at elevations 5 to 50 meters in coastal scrub on stabilized sand dunes and on limestones with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a 10 to 20 " [25 to 50 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with fleshy flowers and does not require fire to bloom. .
