Common Name The Sand Loving Caladenia - The Carousel Spider Orchid
Flower Size 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm]
Found in Western Australia at elevations of 5 to 150 meters in low woodlands and stunted shrubby forests in deep sand as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring and early summer on an erect, 12 to 24" [340 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
