Flower Size .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm]
Found in north and north central New Zealand in light forests and scrub as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a tuber that gives rise to a wiry, shortly radial haired stem carrying a single, long, very thin, pubescent leaf that blooms in the later winter and spring on an erect, to 12" [30 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
