Common Name The Forest Mantis Orchid - The Sneezing Spider Orchid

Flower Size 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm]

C attingens is on the right in the photo and on the left is the similar C falcata. Found in Western Australia at elevations of 20 to 150 meters in shrubby forests and woodlands and on granite outcrops as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, [17 to 45 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
