Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in penninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra in montane forests at elevations around 600 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a short rhizome with small pseudobulbs enveloped completely by leaf bases and carrying about 4, narrowly lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, 5 nerved prominent beneath, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring and early summer on an erect, peduncle to 5.2" [13 cm] long, rachis angular, to 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, 10" [25 cm] long, many [to 20] flowered inflorescence with deciduous, early falling, lanceoalte, acute to acuminate floral bracts .
