Common Name The Bearded Caladenia - The Common Dragon Orchid

Flower Size 1 to 1.6" [25 to 4 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia at elevations of 20 to 350 meters among shrubs beside streams as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a single, pilose, linear, basally clasping leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
