Common Name Behr's Caladenia - The Lofty Ranges Spider Orchid

Flower Size 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm]

Found in Southern Lofty, South Australia on slopes and ridges among shrubs in open forests at elevations around 250 to 400 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the later winter and spring on an erect, 12 to 24" [30 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence and carrying flowers with a musky scent.
